Throw kindness around like confetti.

33, too soon

Enjoying the show Billions, although the talk of the SDNY seems to hit a little too close to home these days, what with the Michael Cohen case and all.

The dialogue is great. A recent episode, in which an astronaut’s rocket blew up on launch when he was only 33 years of age sparred this dialogue between Mike Wagner (Wags) and Bobbie Axelrod (Axe).

Wags: 33, too soon
Axe: No, dying at 30 is “tragic” as it 40s. And the sympathy dissipates from there.
Wags: 50s, “such a shame”
Axe: 60s, “too soon”
Wags: 70s, “a good run”
Axe: 80s, “a life well lived”
Wags: 90s, “that a f-ing hell of a ride”

(as for me, I’m aiming for the “f’in hell of a ride” comment by my friends and family)
