Throw kindness around like confetti.

And the Oscar goes to…

Well, I’ve slept on it (for a few hours anyway)…My favorite movies are always ones that I keep thinking about over and over and over again. That being said, I’m gonna have to pick Roma as my favorite this year. Right up there with Roma, is BlacKKKlansman. As a Unitarian, I can go on for days about these 2 flicks. 😉 Weirdly, ASIBorn was my least fave as I loved the Streisand/Kristofferson (he got to me, as James McMurtry sings) version so this movie had some huge shoes to fill in my book. As far as “how did they do that movies?”…the Favourite, of course, and I loved all 3 lead female leads. They sold each role to me in a big way. I was having babies during the age of Queen but I certainly give major props to a band movie and I thought Rami had the role under his skin, big time. Vice was exactly like MaryAnn McKibben Dana and Matthew McKibben both said. This is one that if I have to revisit this history, this would be the way I’d want to visit it. There was really nothing much new about the Green Book and it would have been a great TV movie (although this is no longer a slam, see Roma). And Black Panther…well hell yeah…but I’m the wrong person to watch and lust after Marvel movies because my least favorite parts are the fight scenes and flying vehicles. But MBJordan movies will always always always be ones I flock to. And those powerful awesome black women…man, I mean WOMAN! That all being said, whichever film wins tonight, I’ll be able to say to myself…”yeah, I can see why it won.”
